THERE seems to be no sign of the Pothole Repair program, which the municipality promised community members following numerous complaints about the shabby streets.
The programme was started in March this year but only lasted a few weeks.
Most of the potholes, which were meant to be repaired, were merely filled with sand (which was washed out by the rain and was of no help at all).
Motorists around town say that they have been subjected to what they can only refer to as “bundu bashing” on tar roads.
This pothole, which is at the post office parking lot exit, is just a sneak peak into what the rest of the town looks like.
