Corner collision chaos

An Audi and a Toyota Tazz collided on the corner of Emmett and Afrikaner Streets on Saturday afternoon after the driver of the Audi allegedly failed to stop at the Stop street. According to reports, the Audi forced the Toyota off the road and onto the pavement, before coming to rest on the adjacent pavement. One of the occupants of the Audi, a child, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Vryheid Provincial Hospital for treatment, while the family in the Toyota were treated for minor to moderate injuries at the scene and then transported to the doctor’s offices by R&R Ambulance, who also transported the driver of the Toyota to Newcastle Medi Clinic.
