IN SUPPORT of the 16 Days of Activism campaign against the abuse of women and children, staff of Khulisa Social Solutions in Vryheid set out to raise awareness.

16 Days of Activism is a worldwide campaign, held from November 25 to December 10 every year, to oppose violence against women and children. It aims to raise awareness of the negative impact that violence and abuse have on women and children and to rid society of abuse permanently.

With this ideal in mind, Khulisa’s staff visited AbaQulusi Super Spar and Checkers, handing out pamphlets and white ribbons, as well as informing passers by of the important message behind the 16 Days of Activism campaign.
