Although there was a significant decline from last year’s “100%” group, which totalled to 12 schools in the Zululand District, five of these schools held firmly to their ground with one “newbie” making a surprise appearance.
The schools that proved they are still top of the range by achieving a 100% pass rate are: Inkamana, Kwabhamu, Mathunjwa, Phumanyova, Pongola Akademie and a surprise appearance from Siyazizamela High.
The Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshega congratulated the class of 2014 and reminded them that this is a stepping stone to greater successes that lie beyond the horizon.
