Baby Lithemba Zulu’s mother hit by fire tragedies four times

The mother of the seven-month-old baby who suffered 50 percent burns as a result of a house fire in Sibongile has been hit by fire and burn tragedies four times.

The mother of the seven-month-old baby who passed away after suffering 50 percent burns, as a result of a house fire in Sibongile, has been hit by fire and burn tragedies four times.

According to sources, she is prone to be a victim of fire and has been affected three times before. She has also encountered a burn tragedy once. The first incident occurred in 2013 when her entire house had been engulfed by flames, fortunately no casualties were sustained.

The second incident left her with a badly burned leg. The third resulted in one of her elder children suffering severe burns as a result of hot water. 

According to the mother, Siyathokoza Nokuthula Zulu, “I was giving the children a bath,the water had been boiling  in a pot on the gas stove ,when the child ran past it, it fell on him.”

The fourth incident has left her seven-month-old baby covered in burns and later resulting in his death.
