Horrific smash and grab video

This video which was loaded by Craig Jennings onto YouTube shows exactly how fast a smash and grab incident can occur

The incident happened along Witkoppen Road near the Cambridge Road intersection in Paulshof, Johannesburg.

The footage which was captured by a dashboard camera, shows a man posing as a beggar, and then smashing a window of a Land Rover Discovery before diving into it and then making a break for it.

The video is a good illustration of just how fast a smash and grab incident can occur which is why motorists must keep their valuables out of plain sight at all times to avoid becoming victims.
