Vryheid High School – Athletes on the go at VHS

IT WAS a very busy week with many activities in different areas.

The sports fields are busy as many different trials are being played. Rugby, netball and soccer trials are taking place in order to sort out teams. On the cultural side choir auditions have already taken place and auditions for the show in April are underway.

On Wednesday, February 4, we hosted our annual interhouse athletics meeting. Despite the very hot day, many learners participated enthusiastically. Grey-King won the event and the best athlete was definitely Gerhard Smit. Congratulations to all those athletes who won an event!

Special congratulations to Janka Gevers who came out tops as the number one player for girls u/19A. Well done, VHS!
