New Republic Primary School – Inflatable fun in the sun

The heat wave was the ideal setting for our two 'Slip and Slide' days.

On Wednesday, February 11, our athletes took part in the relay meeting at Vryheid High School.

They competed against athletes from Hlobane, Lucas Meyer, Paulpietersburg, Dundee and Volksrust. Despite the sweltering heat, this was a great event that was enjoyed by all. NRS would like to thank Mr R Greyling for coaching our athletes, our parents for their support and Vryheid High School for organising this excellent event.

On Thursday the Grade 4 to 7 learners could enjoy playing on the ‘inflatables’ and on Friday it was the turn of the Grade R to 3 children. It was great fun to be able to play in wet swimming costumes all day. Thank you to our parents for supporting this fundraising event.
