Michaelis Schule – Michaelis competes at Wittenberg
The children gave it their all for each event, parents and teachers eagerly cheering them on. Our learners did well and we received quite a number of medals.
WE WOULD like to congratulate Leah Vonkeman and Awande Mbuli for making it through to the Northern KZN Team during their recent tennis trails.
Well done girls, we wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Athletics: On Saturday, February 14, Michaelis pupils, teachers and parents attended the annual Interschool Athletics Meeting. This meeting is between the three German schools in the area, namely Michaelis, Lüneburg and Wittenberg. Wittenberg were the hosts this year and they did a sterling job. It was a very well organised and enjoyable event held in a beautiful setting.
The children gave it their all for each event, parents and teachers eagerly cheering them on. Our learners did well and we received quite a number of medals. We would also like to thank all the parents who attended this meeting, who worked as officials and came to support their children.
A very big thank you also goes out to all the teachers and parents of Wittenberg who made us feel so at home and made sure that this day ran smoothly from start to finish. We look forward to attending this event again next year.
