If you are one of the unlucky households that have not had any power since about just before 6am this morning, then the chances are good that power to your home will be restored at about 9pm tonight or at the latest tomorrow morning.

Municipal technicians have been hard at work trying to fix the problem and restore power since this morning.

To be clear, only if you have not had any power since this morning will this be the case. If there has been power at your house during the day, then you are currently (Group 3) being load-shed and the power will come on again at 6pm.

Confusing, we know, but at this stage it is the only answer we can give. With 90% of Group 3 being without power since this morning, it is baffling why the decision was taken by the municipality to load-shed the handful of homes that had just gotten their power restored, adding more uncertainty and confusion to the mix.
