ITEC Freespool Angling Club returns the favour
This win puts Itec Freespool angling club on top of the table with 12 points and their opponents stuck on 9 points with two more leagues to the end of the season.

League five of the Natal Fresh Waters Angling Association was fished on Sunday at Islands at Ntshingwayo dam.Itec Freespool was fixtured to fish against Docrats angling club of Dundee. Zones were drawn at 5 am and the two rival clubs drew C zone to much disappointment of most anglers. Never the less anglers of both clubs went out to make the day a memorable one as these both clubs were tied on top position on the log with 3 fixtures remaining for the season.
The day started quiet for some anglers and social media(WHATS APP) was more in action than the biting fish as angles were keeping team mates up to date on every fish landed by each the club.
Bait boxes
Itec Freespool anglers Quintus Oosthuizen and Ronnie Rampersdah (Rattler) had the opponents scratching in their bait boxes early to counter these two anglers early haul of fish. By midday the opponents were reeling in some good catches. Itec Freespool anglers had to change gear and counter their catches. At the close of scale both teams looked nervous as the fish were being weighed. Itec Freespool eventually was no match for the opponents and emerged victorious by 135 points to Docrats angling clubs 90 points. This win puts Itec Freespool angling club on top of the table with 12 points and their opponents stuck on 9 points with two more leagues to the end of the season. Top anglers for Itec Freespool were Quintus Oosthuizen with 35 points, Ronnie Rampersadh 19 points and Jermaine Mohan 16 points.

Itec Freespool anglers were delighted at the end of day as the club returned the favour when Docrats angling club knocked them out of the knockout format of the competion two weeks ago.
The president of the club, Clifford Robson club would like to thank all anglers who were dedicated and worked hard on the day to pull this victory out of the bag. The clubs next opponents will be Glencoe angling club on March 15.
