Go Man Go takes trial honours

Time trials take place every Wednesday in front of DJS, Excelsior Lane.

For the third week in a row, Simphiwe “Go Man Go” Ngidi, won the 4km event in a time of 14m04s. “Mighty” Joe Khumalo was second in a time of 14m09s, third was Thokozani Phungula 14m10s and fourth Petrus Mosea 14m35s.
Ettienne “Quick Foot” Tack ran a promising time of 15m59s followed by Thulani Sibiya 25m14s.
Joyce Shabalala was the first lady home in the 3km walk category in a time of 25m30s.
There was a dead heat in the men’s section between Naseem Cassim and Reggie Nkosi in a time of 31 minutes.
Nikkie Williams and Pameza Raimondi got a bit lost and decided to take the scenic route but could not be credited with the extra distance and finished the 3km plus run in a time of 32m26s.
Juniors Dean and Insaaf Cassim also followed the adults through the scenic route and finished in a time of 32m27s.
