Wild shooting in Ruby Gailey

Prominent local businessman Mr Jabulani ‘Unjabs’ Hadebe was ambushed as he arrived home in Ruby Gailey Drive on Tuesday night.

He pulled into his driveway shortly after 9pm and got out of his vehicle to open the gate. He had just reached the gate… And as he reached for the keys in his pocket, the sound of gunfire erupted all around him.

He dived for cover as at least 14 shots were fired in his direction.

The gunman or gunmen fired from the shadows and Mr Hadebe did not see his attackers at all. He ran into his house before calling police. “It was non-stop shooting,” explained a still shocked Mr Hadebe, who was just glad to survive unscathed.
