Young scientist takes on the world

Newcastle High School’s, Nondumiso Mthembu, also known as Grace, was selected to represent South Africa at the London International Youth Science Expo from July 22 to August 5.
At the 2014 Eskom Expo for Young Scientists, more than 659 projects were displayed and, following her participation at the 2014 International Science Fair, she was selected to represent South Africa.
It is a great honour for both Nondumiso and the school, since only 16 other pupils from South Africa were selected to visit various destinations worldwide.
