‘Valentine’s weekend’ carjackers nabbed

Four carjackers have been nabbed following a ‘horror Valentine’s weekend carjacking’, that took place in February, at 37 Browning Street.

The flying squad from Empangeni caught the carjackers cruising away in the stolen Red Polo on March 13.

The deceptive thieves had changed the number plate of the vehicle, however, the flying squad caught their bluff and immediately apprehended four suspects in Empangeni.
Unfortunately, the driver managed to flee.

The first vehicle, the white Chevrolet, was recovered by fast acting Warrant Officer Bruce Simpson hours after the carjacking.
