Michaelis Schule – Grade 2 goes on safari

Our knowledgeable rangers Pete and Celia Ruinard shared many interesting facts with the enthusiastic little ones.

THE Grade 2 class of Michaelis Schule are learning about the beautiful wild animals that grace our land.

They had the privilege of going to Ithala Game Reserve last Wednesday, to experience the bush for themselves. They went on an exciting game drive in a game viewing vehicle and managed to see a variety of wildlife.

Our knowledgeable rangers Pete and Celia Ruinard shared many interesting facts with the enthusiastic little ones. At lunch time we stopped at one of Ithala’s picnic sites and snacked on some delicious treats, before meandering back to the main gate to begin our journey home.

We would like to thank Pete, Celia and Xolani for their patience and insight and the exciting memories we have created. We would also like to thank Leonie for assisting us in transporting the kids and spending the day with us.
