Shave-a-thon in car dealership showroom

Many had colourful streaks sprayed into their hair, while others went the more extreme route and had all their locks shaved off

Young and old showed their support for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) at this morning’s (Saturday) shave-a-thon which was held at Mortimer Toyota.

Many had colourful streaks sprayed into their hair, while others went the more extreme route and had all their locks shaved off.

The colourful (and sometimes bald) affair took place in the Mortimer Toyota showroom at the top of Murchison Street.

Ladysmith Gazette staff joined in the action, shaving and spraying for a good cause.

Money was also raised for Cansa by selling delicious wors rolls to those with hungry tummies (and a brand new hairstyle).
