Staff from the Estcourt Hospital set out to the Connor Street Clinic in an effort to eliminate the disease, assisted by nurses from the clinic

World Tuberculosis (TB) Day was commemorated on Tuesday, March 24 to build public awareness about the global epidemic.
The day was themed “Together we can stop TB”. Staff from the Estcourt Hospital set out to the Connor Street Clinic in an effort to eliminate the disease, assisted by nurses from the clinic. The effort was encouraged by the Health Department.
A queue formed outside the Connor Street Clinic as community members made a stop to get screen tests done, while pamphlets were handed out informing the public on how to avoid becoming infected and if infected what steps to take to being cured. Keep your immune system healthy, stop by at your local clinic and get tested regularly.Don’t fall victim to this disease.
