Sweating it out at 50th N3TC Arthur Cresswell Memorial Marathon

Hundreds of runners participated in the marathon

The 50th N3TC Arthur Cresswell Memorial Marathon took place this morning (Saturday).

Many tackled the 52km course between Bergville and Ladysmith, while the not-so-fit took on the 21.1km half-marathon.

Water tables were dotted along the route, providing the runners with welcome refreshments to hydrate their tired bodies.

Hundreds of runners participated in the marathon.

The ultra-marathoners started at the Bergville Farmers Hall and made their way to the Indoor Sports Complex in Ladysmith.

RTI and Public Safety ensured that all were kept safe from the fast-flowing traffic.

Medals are awarded to all finishers, and prizes to category and team winners.
