Nashua extends flag of friendship

Keen on building on its promise to help develop Newcastle’s sports, Nashua Maluti has partnered with the Newcastle Golf Club.

For a start, Nashua has sponsored much needed new tee box markers and flags for each hole on the course.

“We just want to support local sports and give back to our community,” said Nashua Maluti representative, Paul Korb.

In the past, Nashua has been a leading force in promoting local sports by sponsoring projects such as the Nashua Huttenpark Pro10 cricket tournament, as well as the recent inter-district rugby tournament in Utrecht.

Mr Korb explained Nashua believed a business should always be willing to give back to the community, and Nashua backed sports development.

“We decided to back the Newcastle Golf Club, because it is the oldest club in Newcastle and has a definite place in the heart of this community.”
