A hair raising find
From wigs to dead chickens, Gladstone Street gutters have been filled with the weird and not so wonderful.
There have been some truly weird and not so wonderful things found in the Gladstone Street gutters of late.
Last week, residents were shocked to find a wig laying in the gutter.
It is unclear whether the hair had fallen off someone’s head or was dumped there by someone who didn’t like their new colour.
A few days later, a dead chicken was also found dumped in a gutter on Gladstone Street.
The chicken was wrapped in paper, without its head, which lay a few centimeters away.
While some speculated it may have been a sinister act, others don’t suspect ‘fowl play’ and think it’s just a random act of dumping.
