Bulldogs defeat Waratahs
The final score was 21-17 in the Clover Leaf Bulldogs’ favour
The Ladysmith Clover Leaf Bulldogs played the Pietermaritzburg (PMB) Waratahs on Friday night at Woodburne Stadium.
The first 40 minutes, we battled to get our hands on the ball, but in the end, our defence was outstanding and the half-time score was 12-6 in favour of the Waratahs. In the second half, we had much more ball, dominating the scrums and malls. This resulted in three good tries being scored, one by Ronnie Parker and two by Lennert Buitendach.
The final score was 21-17 in the Clover Leaf Bulldogs’ favour, a great turnaround after the first half!
Tomorrow night (Friday, April 17) at 8pm, we will be playing Winterton Drakensberg at Settlers Park. Please come and support the team, and enjoy the evening with us as you also support the tuck shop and bar.
