Bulldogs give Winterton a good run at Settlers Park

The Clover Leaf Bulldogs took on Winterton Drakensberg at Settlers Park last night (Friday).
The game was a challenging one for the Bulldogs, with Winterton applying lots of pressure from the word go.
The first half ended with Winterton in a commanding position, leading 17-o. The second half proved to be much better for the Bulldogs, who clawed their way back to within three points of their opponents. However, it just wasn’t enough, with Winterton emerging victorious by 17-14.
A large home crowed cheered on the local ‘manne’ till the final whistle.
