Twilight zone soccer

Seven provincial soccer teams will participate in the Golden Oldies Football League on Saturday.

Chatsworth, Durban, KwaMashu, Tongaat, Umlazi and Newcastle are all represented in the over 50 league which began on March 14 in Durban.

The purpose of the games is to encourage older persons to participate in sports and to keep fit.

The seven teams will converge on Fernwood Sports Grounds for nine games and the first game will kick off at 11am.

Two teenage teams will begin the proceedings and set the exciting pace for the rest of the games.

Residents have been urged to attend the event and support the golden oldies.
