Attempted hijacking ordeal for motorist
Motorist fights back against hi-jackers.
A motorist, travelling on the Rorke’s Drift road last night, was lucky to escape unscathed after he was almost hi-jacked by two men.
The motorist was returning from dropping off two of his workers, when two men tried to hi-jack him.
The first man opened the driver’s side door and pulled at the motorist so hard, that his shirt tore. The second man tried to open the passenger side door but luckily it was locked.
The second man tried to open the passenger side door but luckily it was locked.
The motorist fought back and managed to kick the man who attempted to pull him out of the vehicle.
He then sped off.
He urged other motorists not to travel alone at night as it has become very dangerous.
