New-born baby dumped – Police looking for mother
The baby was found by municipal workers.
Police have issued an urgent appeal for anyone with information that will help to identify the mother who abandoned her new-born baby boy at the Dundee cemetery on Friday morning.
The baby was found by municipal workers who had reported for duty at the graveyard behind the hospital.
Municipal workers commented that it was only by the grace of God that the baby was not attacked by roaming dogs.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the mother of the child should contact the Dundee police or the Family, Violence, Crime Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit on tel. 034 299 7300.
