Hattingspruit horror crash: Speeding to blame
Community calls for urgent intervention to prevent for accidents.

Speeding motorists have come under the spotlight following the horror crash in Hattingspruit this morning.
Community members have once again voiced their anger at motorists who flout the rules of the road and continue to speed.
Over a dozen speedbumps were put up last year on the stretch of road, in an attempt to curb accidents.
However, community members have complained that the bumps have done more harm than good.
While some motorists slow down for the bumps, others fly right past them, sometimes overtaking up to six vehicles at a time.
They called on the Department to remove the bumps or find a better solution to stop rampant speeding in the area before more people are killed.
