School Shooting: Accused charged with 8 counts
Community queues to see murder accused.
The three men accused of murdering Nquthu Council Speaker, Vusi Ntombela and 12-year-old Elisabeth Nhleko, appeared in the Nquthu Magistrates Court today.
Mbongiseni Mdakane, Mbhekiseni Khambule and Bhekizenzo Dlangamandla have been charged with 8 different counts.
They are charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder, pointing of a firearm, two counts of possession of firearms and two counts of possession of ammunition.
The case has been remanded to June 10 and the accused will be sent to different prisons.
Accused 1 will be detained in Vryheid and accused 2 and 3 will be detained at Ncome.
The courtroom was packed as angry community members turned out to see who was responsible for the murder.
Heavily armed police officers were on hand to ensure that the crowds did not get out of hand.
