THE LOCAL Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) would like to introduce their four new members to the community.
Simukelo, Nathi, Ntuthuko and Nkazimulo are part of the 90 people who were hired out of 40,000 people who qualified to apply for the positions as traffic officers back in 2012.
Many might recall the news of the 18 people who were injured or hospitalised following their participation in a 4km run at Pietermaritzburg’s Harry Gwala stadium in December 2012.
The run formed part of a fitness test for Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) job applicants.
These four men graduated on June 5 after proving that they were more than capable for the job.
Local RTI Station Manager Mr N Ndlanzi congratulated the four for making it this far and said that he hoped that they would be a valuable addition to his team.
