Bulldogs fight it out for the win

The Clover Leaf Bulldogs took on the mighty Voortrekker Old Boys on Friday night, in a well-contested rugby match.

The game was evenly balanced during the 1st half, with both the teams giving nothing to each other.

The 2nd half proved to be a nail-biting event  for both coaches and spectators alike when both teams began scoring tries.

Two Bulldogs players were seriously injured during the  end of the game and had to be taken off the field, thus  giving the mighty Old Boys a slight advantage. However, the home boys managed to hold their own and pull off a well-deserved win over their adversaries, beating them 28-22.

The home team contributed to their victory by  successfully scoring and converting four tries.
