New taxi stop spot in Glencoe

This development, along with the new Crime Prevention Board at Glencoe Spar proves that Glencoe is a town on the move.

Commuters who make use of public transport have now been treated to a new, and more convenient, taxi stop at Glencoe Spar.
According to Dundee Transport Association Chairperson, Mr Mthembu, “this demarcated area of the complex was erected in May in a bid to save commuters and customers wishing to shop at Spar, from walking long distances to catch taxis”.
They can now be transported from Spar to the taxi rank or from the taxi rank to Spar at a fee. Alternatively, commuters and customers can wait at the spot and be transported to Dundee.
This new stop is a relief to customers who previously had to walk with their groceries or shopping in tow to the taxi rank.
This development, along with the new Crime Prevention Board at Glencoe Spar proves that Glencoe is a town on the move.
