Recognising fathers' role in their families, New Age Of Newcastle (NAON) hosted a special Father's Day lunch, one of many NAON initiatives.
Fathers play a huge role in their children’s lives and are usually the first hero a child admired.
Recognising fathers’ role in their families, New Age Of Newcastle (NAON) hosted a special Father’s Day lunch, one of many NAON initiatives.
Focusing on uplifting the community, NAON runs a feeding scheme that provides the indigent with nutritious meals. The feeding scheme also includes the less fortunate pupils of Surayaville Primary School and Lincoln Heights Secondary School.
“NAON is not just for the elderly. It is for the youth, indigent or physically challenged. It is for everyone, regardless of race or creed,” said Cllr Matthew Shunmugam.
“It is a Non-Governmental Organisation and relies on the community’s support.”
