Aon brings new life to crèche
The crèche currently has 12 pupils between the ages of one and six years old, are and just the right age to appreciate the injection of bright colours brought to the playground by volunteers.
Staff from Aon celebrated their annual global service day on June 11 at Siyazama Crèche in Ingogo in conjunction with Amajuba Christian Social Services.
The crèche currently has 12 pupils between the ages of one and six years old, are and just the right age to appreciate the injection of bright colours brought to the playground by volunteers. Drab tyres soon underwent a metamorphosis while the children gleefully looked on and much fun was had by volunteers.
The absolute highlight of the day for the children had to be when the truck load of sand donated by Steven Wade of Slagcrete arrived to fill their sandpit.
All the children helped with their little buckets to fill the sandpit.
After all the exertion, it was time for tasty hot dogs and tempting goodie bags with cold-drinks and sweets.
Aon also donated blankets for the cold days ahead and groceries to stock up the kitchen.
