Four injured in failed overtaking manoeuvre

Four people were injured on the Natal Spa/Paulpietersburg Road on Sunday evening when their vehicle was clipped in a failed overtaking manoeuvre.

According to our sources, the Toyota Corolla in which the four were travelling overturned after a Mercedes Benz clipped its rear bumper when attempting to overtake, subsequently resulting in severe damage to the Toyota, which allegedly lost a front wheel in the incident.

The injured patients sustained only minor injuries and were transported to Vryheid Provincial Hospital for treatment.
