Gloomy weather does not deter golfing success

Despite the gloomy weather, the golf scores for the July Monthly mug were bright. The Dundee Golf Club thanked all golfers who played in the Monlthy Mug which was played in the form of Individual Medal.

Despite the gloomy weather, the golf scores for the July Monthly mug were bright. The Dundee Golf Club thanked all golfers who played in the Monlthy Mug which was played in the form of Individual Medal.
The winners are as follows: In the A Division, the men’s mug was won by Sifiso Kunene on a good 66 net. Ladies’ mug winners were: Loraine De Wit on 71 net in the B Divison and the C Divison mug went to Dolly Bradbury on 77 nets.
The best Gross for the day was carded by Sifiso Kunene on 73 gross. Jackpot winners, Walter Du Plessis and Jo Khumalo were on 11 points.
Prizes were scooped by Sifiso Kunene on 66 net, second Zayne Milne on 67 net, third Jo Khumalo on 68 and fourth was Willie Maritz on 69 net.
Dundee Country Club says thank you
Dundee Country club thanks the Sentraal Rugby Club for hosting their Golf Sponsored Day at the Dundee Country Club on July 11. The format will be a four-ball-better-ball and scamble drive. Entrance fee is R150 which includes dinner. Prizes to be won.

Handicap and non-handicap players welcome hence the scramble drive.
The club also thanked Barry Sandy and Chris Purcell for organising the Indy Oil sponsored nine-hole competition in the form of I.P.S.
The results for the Indy Oil sponsored competition are as follows: first was Richardt Albertse on 21 points counted out from Jo Khumalo, third was KP Smith on 19 points counted out from Cyril Mkhwanazi and fifth on 18 points was Jurie Engelbecht.
Thank you’s was also in order for Hamish Greirson for sponsoring the Wednesdays Chicken Run. The Wednesday Chicken Run was won by Debbie Catlet on 21 points.
Please Note:
There will be a Chicken Run on Wednesday July 8 over nine holes in the form of I.P.S. Meat Competition will be held on July 10 over nine holes in the form of I.P.S. Would the gentlemen who found a wedge around the practice green kindly hand it to the Pro Shop.
Dates to Diarise:
The annual Doctors Golf Sponsored Day on August 8 in the form of I.P.S. Lots of prizes to be won.
