Dundee bowling club to host Legends tournament
The KZNCB and Northerns Executive need to seriously look at this last weekends scenario, where there were three tournaments.
Dundee Bowling Club is gearing up to be host this first ever ‘Legends Bowls’ tournament / get-together on December 15/16
Sponsored Day: A great Newcastle FedAuto day was had. It great to see that three Dundee teams entered the FedAuto sponsored day with the ‘Battlefields’ team finishing second,
All Bowls clubs need to work together. The KZNCB and the Zones need to take cognizance of dates to support and accommodate club sponsored days. Dundee Bowling Club postponed their club singles to give members the opportunity to support the other clubs competitions on July 11th i.e. Newcastle FedAuto sponsored day, Vryheid Moths day and Harrismith Wildsfees bowls day. Natal Open:
Ian de Jager, Dirk Wessels, Nan Roos and Sylvia Malan are travelling to Durban this weekend to participate in the “Perfect Delivery” and “Battlefields Sports Resort” sponsored Natal Open Gentlemen and Ladies pairs championships. Friday Bowls: With the great improvement in the clubs financial situation, members are reminded that there will be no charge for green fees on Friday’s and practice sessions with immediate effect. A reminder of the Fun family bowls and Barefoot bowls for the kids on Sunday July 19 at 11 am.

There was again a great turn-out at Thursday’s Squires Sports Bar Pool and Darts Business League.
The Squires Sports Bar team is leading the pool section with 14 points and the TriStar team is leading the darts section with 16 points. Looks like Girls Rule are needing some practice as they could be heading for the stone…
