UPDATE: Two injured in ‘drive-thru’ accident

The driver of the vehicle allegedly lost control, veering off the road and into the glass doors at the entrance of the store, where two employees of the store were positioned at the time.

TWO people sustained moderate injuries this morning when a car smashed into the entrance of Mr Price on the corner of Utrecht and High Streets.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly lost control, veering off the road and into the glass doors at the entrance of the store, where two employees of the store were positioned at the time.

Emergency services responded to the incident and the two injured parties were transported to Vryheid Provincial Hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the accident, however the reason behind the loss of control has yet to be confirmed.
