Something different in your speakers
inYourSpeakers rose into the music scene three years ago and their journey has went uphill since then.
Here’s a bit of something new for you to tune into in your speakers.
A local music production team known as inYourSpeakers rose into the music scene three years ago and their journey has went uphill since then.
Zwa ‘Beats’ Sibisi and Njabulo ‘Chyna’ Khanyile started drafting plans for this production back in 2012 and have since been joined by other artists like Dizzy Dlamini, Xoli and another producer who goes by the name Xstatic Keys.
“We started from phone recordings and just decided to really follow our love for music and take it seriously,” said Njabulo.
The team has since been sampling different musical genres from Hip-Hop, RnB to Soft Rock and are always on the lookout for creative ways to keep their fans tuned in.
With teamwork being very important to them, the inYourSpeakers members say that they work on a strict schedule of releasing and focusing on one artist’s mixtape at a time.
“When one of our artist’s releases a mixtape, we all have to pull our weight and contribute as much into that project as we possibly can,” said Zwa.
This year, inyourSpeakers have been working hard to market Chyna’s mixtape titled Black which is set to be released in August.
This young artist is definitely one to look out for this year as many local young people are already familiar with his title track ‘Black’ and its remix.
Inspired by love and the colour black, this song is already making waves and leaving many no choice but to stop and do more than just pay attention.
The team says that their music focuses on real feelings and empowerment.
“We are all for authenticity and cater for a diverse audience,” they all agreed.
Chyna entered the Jack Daniels Scouts competition and his entry was successful.
“I am now requesting people to vote for me so that I can make my town shine,” he said.

InYourSpeakers say that they are still growing and hope to work with local music big shots such as GroundZero in the future.
