Durnacol residents are tired of the bull shit
Once the pound is in opeartion, therer will no longer be animals walking around residential areas.

Durnacol residents are tired of the bull shit, sheep shit and even pig shit.
David Mathebula, a resident of No 7 Village in Durnacol is tired of what he claims is a problem that has been going on for over five years.
Mr Mathebula and other residents of Durnacol have had to contend with animals wandering into their properties, defecating and causing destruction. It’s not only cows either. Sheep, goats, chickens and even pigs have to known to wander the streets.
Residents complain that the animals also make a noise during the night, making it hard to sleep. Mr Mathebula contacted the municipality to address the matter. He said that officials did attend to the complaint and took pictures but that nothing has been done as yet.
The Dannhauser Municipality was contacted for comment and Community Services Manager, Seva Naidoo, confirmed that they did attend to the complaint and that they had served a notice to a Protea Street resident, who was keeping animals on his property.
Mr Naidoo also mentioned that the problem would soon be a thing of the past, once the municipal pound is in operation.
Phase One has already been completed and the municipality is in the process of starting on Phase Two.
The news will bring welcome relief to residents who have long since complained about animals wandering through the town or into the properties.
