Man stabbed in broad daylight

A vicious attack on a man in broad daylight has left the community of Dundee reeling with panic.
This was after an Indian man was viciously attacked and stabbed numerous times outside Paint Centre on July 21 at 11am. One man has since been apprehended and appeared in the Dundee Magistrates’ Court on July 22. The attacker pleaded guilty and has since been fined.
According to Police, the victim (who wished to remain anonymous for safety reasons) had been shopping at Paint Centre.
After he was done he exited the premises and went to sit in his car. Within minutes, the attacker struck and began stabbing the victim frantically.
The victim cried out in agony for help and the store manager who witnessed the ordeal rushed out to assist. The store manager was accompanied by other colleagues and a customer who began chasing the attacker.
The customer and the Paint Centre employees gave chase and eventually cornered the attacker at Shoprite.

The brave customer and a GSTE Security Guard joined the pursuit and promptly apprehended the attacker.
Meanwhile the Store Manager attended to the victim who had sustained numerous stab wounds to the head and leg and was bleeding profusely.

The victim was sent to Dundee Provincial Hospital and is recovering.
The exact reason for the brazen stabbing is unclear at this moment, however, according to unofficial sources, the attacker was hired to assault the victim.
