Exact struck by armed robbers
The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money and cellphones.
Exact, a local business in Dundee, was robbed again last night.
This is the second armed robbery at the business in the past seven months.
The first robbery took place on November 6.
Suspects were apprehended in that case.
The second occurred on July 30, according to Police, ‘the two suspects entered the premises under a pretence of being shoppers just before the shop could close for business’.
After browsing around the shop the pair suddenly produced a gun and made the employees and the manager leave the front and lie flat on the floor in the kitchen.
According to Communications Officer, Captain Mbense, “two other people, who travel with the manager were also engulfed in the robbery and made to join the employees in the back”.
“This was after one of them allegedly knocked on the door and disturbed the robbers”, Captain Mbense explained.
The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money and cellphones.
No arrests have been made and the case is under investigation.
