The R103 between Ladysmith and Colenso has been closed again by protesters.
Since early this morning, angry mobs using burning tyres and rocks blocked most roads leading into Ladysmith (Helpmekaar, Peacetown, Driefontein and Roosboom).
The protest seems to be about a taxi tariff increase.
Motorists are warned to stay clear.
