“We encourage the public to support the local soccer teams, as there is no spectator charge,” explained organiser, Terence Chetty.
The competition kicks off at 9am.
All four divisions have full representation, with Majuba TVET, NCC and Boston College to participate in the open division.
The young Cool Customs team will feature in the under-17 and open divisions.
Proving age is nothing more than a number, Newcastle United is looking a strong contender to clinch the over-40 division.
The prize pool for this competition is in the region of R4 000.
Expect fine soccer action, live DJs, children’s entertainment, food stalls and more to be the order of the day.
