DJS sports house fun day

Na ‘n lang seisoen het die skool se mini-krieketspanne aan die laaste toernooi van die kwartaal gaan deelneem.

Op ‘n baie koue September 19 besoek ons skool Drakensberg Primêr en speel al die spannetjies almal se harte baie warm.

u/7: B Team – played 2, won 2
A Team – played 1, won 1
u/8: Girls – played 1; lose 1
Boys – played 1; won 1
u/9: B Team – played 1; won 1
A Team – played 2; won 1; lose 1

DJS Junior Sports day

On September 23 the foundation phase had a fun sports day.

Parents attending watched as their children participated in high jump, long jump, jukskei, turbo javelin, obstacle races and various fun activities; sack races, egg and spoon.

The children were most enthusiastic to dress up in the sports house colours red, blue, green and red.

They marched under the newly made banner of Mpati, Talana, Tangeni and Endumeni.

A fun day was had by all participants and parents alike.
