Diwali festival in a class of its own

The biggest and best Diwali festival to date will take place at Richview Civic Hall on October 31 from 2pm to 11pm.

South Africa’s leading Bollywood show band is scheduled to take to the stage.

Punjab Karen Juneja, who performed on Saregamapa, Sur Kshetra and Bharat, will also entertain the crowd. He recently won the award for the best voice in Punjab.

Two local bands will be in attendance; the Shree Sangeeth and Avantika Sounds.

In addition, religious groups will carry out bhajans, dances, kirtans and sketches.

Entrance is free, so be sure to bring your friends along.
