Pothole scare for motorist

Mr Kader and residents in the area commented that this section of Bulwer Street is in a terrible state of disrepair and they hope that the municipality will soon return to restore the road to what it once was.

Motorist, Yusuf Kader, thought he was on the moon when he drove down Bulwer Street – near the education department offices. His vehicle struck a sinkhole which had erupted in the road.
“It was huge and really deep. This could have killed someone,” he said. Mr Kader immediately contacted the municipality who, to their credit, reacted swiftly and in less than an hour after it was reported, the crater was repaired.
