Old town market will add some craft to central Dundee
Arty locals like Michele Hamman and Angella de Jager will present their delightful work on our big day! The Curry Parlour will also be open, of course, for those requiring liquid refreshments.
The Dundee Old Town Market will be held in Beaconsfield Street, in front of the Courier offices and Guinea Fowl Coffee Shop, on Saturday, November 14.
This is a new idea to bring local crafters and arty people together in one market in Dundee and for the likes of those that cannot really travel to markets further away. This promises to be a culinary and musical delight. Arty locals like Michele Hamman and Angella de Jager will present their delightful work on our big day! The Curry Parlour will also be open, of course, for those requiring liquid refreshments.
At 10 am we will have the Gregory brothers playing real boeremusiek and at 11 am Patsy Shrikrishan will be bringing her Bollywood girls for some dancing. Did you guys know her dance school has been going for 12 years now? Congrats Patsy! Tannie Wilma Venter will bring her lead glass work to the market and Susan Maree Odendaal will display her beautiful paintings. Aunty Marilyn Atkinson will be selling jams, chutneys, mince pies and Christmas cakes. Come on guys…! If you have something to offer, contact Lani on 083 697 3333. Do not wait any longer…
