Bhekuzulu taxi driver hijacked
They took his wallet, which had R500 cash and cellphone and then demanded the car keys before leaving him stranded there
THE VRYHEID SAPS are still searching for two suspects who hi-jacked a taxi driver on Friday, November 6, at around 7:45 PM near the Ema 300 area in Bhekuzulu.
According to the driver of the taxi he drove to deliver the nine passengers he had in his taxi on Friday evening, after dropping off the other seven passengers, the two men that were left informed him that they were going to the Ema 300 area.
As they were approaching the stop, the driver said that he heard the click of a gun and one of the men then told him that he had the choice of choosing to live or die.
The two then demanded cash from him and instructed him to stop the vehicle.They took his wallet, which had R500 cash and cellphone.They than demanded the car keys and left him stranded there.
The police are looking for anyone who may be able to help them find these two suspects or anyone who may be able to help them find the Toyota HiAce taxi with the registration number NV 20591.
