Car boot sale at Koekie Jacobsz Senior Centre

A large variety of stalls were on hand, selling everything from soaps and biscuits to clothing and great food to cater for all the shoppers’ needs

The Koekie Jacobsz Senior Service Centre held a fund-raising car boot sale on Saturday morning at the centre in Francis Road.

Stall holders set up early to be ready for the eager public to come and purchase their wares.

A large variety of stalls were on hand, selling everything from soaps and biscuits to clothing and great food to cater for all the shoppers’ needs.

The Magic Rhythm band was also there, providing toe-tapping tunes as the sound-track to a morning of lovely shopping and snacking.

If you didn’t attend Saturday’s car boot sale, then you surely missed out on some great deals. These events offer something for just about everyone, old or young, and have become a fixture on the town’s social calendar.
