Who dunnit for Toy Story….

A local generous benefactor to Toy Story remains anonymous user

Local listeners of EastCoast Radio are agog over who donated R2-million to the East Coast Radio Toy Story campaign on Friday afternoon.

The Damon Beard Show heard that an anonymous donor from Dundee made the disclosure but did not reveal their name or the name of the company.

It is believed to be the biggest single donation in the history of the Christmas campaign for poor kids.  For eight years The Curry Parlour in Dundee has been doing a similar project called Toys for Joy. Money is raised to distribute Toys to kids at orphanages, Crisis Center, hospital and at other centres.

It is not clear how many toys from the East Coast Radio project make their way to Northern KZN.
